What’s being said nationally after Lions beat Bengals for fourth straight win

In a game that may have been a little too close for comfort down the stretch, the Detroit Lions still handled business Sunday at Paycor Stadium, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 37-24.

With the win, the Lions have now rattled off four straight victories following their Week 1 debacle in Green Bay.

Detroit (4-1) benefitted from a lights-out performance by its defense, which intercepted Bengals quarterback Jake Browning three times.

Quarterback Jared Goff finished 19-of-23 for 258 yards and three touchdowns. However, his streak of not being sacked came to an end, as the Bengals managed to bring him down four times.

Cincinnati native David Montgomery had a big day as well, finishing with two touchdowns -- one rushing and one receiving -- a nod to his high school quarterback days.
