They're heating up! Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, 27, and singer Madison Beer, 26, have been spotted on dates recently, but a sideline smooch during the team's game against the Washington Commanders on Oct. 5 looked a lot like an official hard launch!
The NFL pro was caught on camera greeting his apparent new girlfriend on the sidelines before the game and giving her a sweet kiss and a hug before shaking hands with her friends. She snagged one last smooch before he had to run off to play (he is the team captain, after all). Beer arrived at the game decked out in Chargers gear, including a vintage jacket.
Fans were loving the new duo's sweet PDA, and took to the comments of the video to share their thoughts. "No wonder why he's going off BIG DAWG," said one fan, while another wrote, "Bro she is in lovveeeee dude!" A third added, "Win or lose Herbert wins," while a fourth warned, "That's bad luck for Herbert. Never kiss your girl before a game." Unfortunately, he may have been right. The Chargers lost the game at Sofi Stadium 27-10.

Many other fans quickly began comparing Beer and Herbert to another singer and footballer couple: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. "Swifties, I know now how you feel," said one Beer fan, while another wrote, "They doing the Taylor Swift method now."

The "Make You Mine" singer and the NFL star first sparked dating rumors in August 2025, when the baller was reportedly spotted visiting Beer on the set of a music video shoot, according to E! News.
Not long after, in September, Beer was seen out with Herbert and some of his teammates while celebrating the Chargers' win against the Kansas City Chiefs in photos obtained by TMZ. The pair walked hand-in-hand into West Hollywood hotspot Delilah.
Though neither of them have made the relationship Instagram official yet, they appeared to post for a quick photo on the sideline, so they may be getting ready to take that big step soon!
