It’s time for some rest for Josh Jacobs and the Green Bay Packers after playing four games in the 2025 NFL regular season. The Packers are among the teams that have a bye in Week 5, so they have some extra free time to spend.
The Packers are also coming off a 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4’s edition of Sunday Night Football, in which Jacobs led the team on the ground and through the air. He finished that contest with 86 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries to go along with 71 receiving yards on four receptions and four targets.
On the season, the three-time Pro Bowl running back has amassed 266 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 80 rushing attempts.

On Sunday, Jacobs posted a series of photos on Instagram, including some from Green Bay’s Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Jacobs didn’t add any caption to it, letting the photos speak for themselves, but turned the heads of fans and teammates nonetheless.
“Dawg,” Love commented.
Love wasn’t the only Packers player who shared his thoughts on Jacobs’ post.
“🎱,” wrote Green Bay offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins.
It was the same emoji used by rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden as well.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide star will have several more days of rest and preparation before taking the field for their next game, which will be a showdown versus the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6 at Lambeau Field. It will be Green Bay’s first home game since Week 2’s 27-18 victory over the Washington Commanders.
