London - Saba: Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola expressed his concern on Sunday after Spanish midfielder Rodri was injured in the first half of his team's 1-0 victory over Brentford, confirming that the injury is a muscle injury and may keep him out for "only two to three weeks." Rodri, who previously suffered a torn cruciate ligament, left the field after 20 minutes in pain, to be replaced by Nico Gonzalez. Guardiola said, "We tried to be careful with him, but things happen." He explained to Sky Sports that he was right to substitute him in the previous match against Monaco: "Journalists ask me why I didn't let him play 90 minutes, and this is the answer." For his part, Rodri reassured the fans, saying, "I feel a little strain in my hamstring, but it's nothing serious." This victory gave Guardiola his 250th victory in the English Premier League.
