West Ham United’s problems in front of goal show no sign of easing.
A 2–0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend — Nuno Espirito Santo’s second match in charge — marked yet another game without finding the net, as the Hammers’ attacking struggles continue to define their season.
Despite early signs of improvement under Nuno, the lack of cutting edge in the final third has been glaring. Jarrod Bowen remains the only consistent source of goals, Callum Wilson has yet to convince as a long-term solution, and Michail Antonio’s release has left the squad short of options.
Now, in a bold and ambitious move, West Ham appear to be exploring one of the most audacious transfer possibilities in world football.

According to a new report from Fichajes, via EPL Index, West Ham have made initial contact with Real Madrid to explore the possibility of signing Endrick, one of the most highly rated young forwards on the planet.
Club officials are said to have reached out to gauge the feasibility of a deal, as they look to inject energy and long-term quality into a struggling attack.
For West Ham, who currently sit 19th in the Premier League, the pursuit of Endrick comes at a crucial time.
After parting ways with Graham Potter, the board are eager to back new manager Nuno Espirito Santo in January with players who can transform both the mood and the team’s attacking fortunes.
Nuno is believed to be a huge admirer of Endrick’s technical ability, direct play, and composure in front of goal — qualities that could help ignite a West Ham side short on confidence.
Valued at around £30 million, the teenage sensation has already been described as a “complete” modern forward, capable of leading the line and creating chances on his own.
While a deal would be incredibly difficult given Real Madrid’s long-term plans for the Brazilian, West Ham’s approach shows the club’s intent to be ambitious under their new head coach — even if the chances of landing such a global talent remain slim.
