The New York Giants dropped a 26-14 decision to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart gave fans plenty to celebrate before things fell apart. The first-round pick followed up last week’s debut with two early touchdown passes that staked New York to a 14-3 lead in the first half.
His second score came on a 15-yard connection to tight end Theo Johnson. CBS cameras quickly found Dart’s parents in the crowd at the Superdome, and the moment became an instant hit on social media.

Kara and Brandon Dart were shown celebrating with fans around them, sharing high-fives as their son carved up the Saints defense.
Kara wore a red top while Brandon sported a Giants T-shirt, fitting for a Utah alum watching his kid live out an NFL dream.
The cameras kept returning to the Dart family throughout the broadcast, and fans noticed.
