“Trade For Shedeur Man”: NBA Player Damian Lillard Wants Las Vegas Raiders To Trade For Shedeur …

The Las Vegas Raiders started off 1-0 on the 2025 NFL season, but things have gone south for the Raiders ever since. Quarterback Geno Smith and the team did not play well on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith (7) hands off the ball to running back Ashton Jeanty (2) Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025, during a game against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The Colts defeated the Raiders 40-6.

Las Vegas lost the game against the Colts by a final score of 40-6. With the loss for the Raiders, they drop to 1-4 on the season and the Colts improve to 4-1. Smith against Indianapolis completed 25-of-36 passes for 228 yards and two interceptions. There are many fans who want him benched. The current backup quarterback is Kenny Pickett. However, will someone else play quarterback for the Raiders this season, or no?

NBA player Damian Lillard is on the Portland Trail Blazers, and he was watching the Raiders and Colts game closely. He is not thrilled with what is transpiring with Smith at the moment for Las Vegas. Lillard said on his Twitter account,

“Time to gone ahead and trade for shedeur man smfh.”

Well, they could have traded for him when they traded with the Browns for Pickett, but Cleveland wanted to keep Shedeur Sanders. They may play Sanders at some point this season. They won’t trade for him.

But if Smith plays horribly again next week against the Tennessee Titans, then there will be major questions if he should remain the starting quarterback or not. Head coach Pete Carroll may switch from Smith to Pickett if this continues.
