Real Madrid could green light a loan move for 19-year-old Endrick come January.

West Ham could make a head-turning loan swoop for highly rated Real Madrid prospect Endrick Felipe in January, according to fresh reports from Spain.

The Hammers have been poor defensively this season, conceding a league worst of 16 goals, but also lack firepower going forward. The London outfit have scored more than one goal in the league on just one occasion so far this term.

West Ham splurged £27 million on Niclas Fullkrug in the summer of 2024 but the big German has struggled to get going in the Premier League, not helped by injuries. Former Newcastle United man Callum Wilson came on a free transfer this summer but has been an unused substitute in both of Nuno Espirito Santo’s first two matches in charge, with youngster Callum Marshall preferred off the bench against Arsenal.

West Ham make contact with Real Madrid

Speaking after that game, Nuno said: “Now is the moment to analyse, it’s been two tough games away from home against very good teams. We are starting to work on basic things like organisation and the way we press.

“We have to work. The international break is going to be important for us, many changes and noise around us we need to ignore. We need to focus on our task.”

Spanish outlet Fichajes now claims that West Ham have made contact with Real Madrid over a loan move for Endrick, who could benefit from Premier League experience over the back end of the 2025/26 campaign. The Galacticos agreed a deal to sign the talent from Palmeiras back in 2022 but the forward only made the move to Spain in July 2024 for £30 million.

Carlo Ancelotti hails Endrick as ‘spectacular’

Endrick has gone on to make 37 appearances for Real Madrid, scoring seven goals, but is yet to feature this season. The striker had been nursing a thigh problem but has been an unused substitute in the last four La Liga fixtures.

That could leave Real Madrid looking to sanction a loan to help the player keep progressing. Real Sociedad, Valencia and Marseille are all also linked with a loan move for the player.

Endrick has received high praise from coaches in the past, including former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti. Speaking after a particularly impressing performance in a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad in February, Ancelotti said: "He is spectacular. He has these amazing characteristics he has shown whenever he has a chance. His accuracy is off the charts, he's quick and he still has a lot to improve with the ball.

“But, wow, his dribbling, his runs... the shot he has... he could even score a second goal easily with that great strike off the post... He is just spectacular. Very young, but a very fast learner.”
