Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys got back in the win column this week when they took down the New York Jets. The 37-22 win improved Dallas’ record to 2-2-1 on the year and sent New York to 0-5.
However, it would appear that Dallas’ owner could be facing some severe punishment from the league.
NFL likely to impose massive punishment on Cowboys’ Jerry Jones (Report)

Jerry Jones may be slapped with a massive fine. According to journalist Andrew Holleran:
While the Jets made embarrassing history, punishment could be coming for Jerry Jones.
The Dallas Cowboys owner was seen appearing to give the middle finger to some fans at Metlife Stadium.

“In 2009, the league fined the late Bud Adams $250,000 for shooting the double bird from his suite in a game against the Bills,” Pro Football Talk writes.
“We’ll see if the league does anything. And, if the league does, we’ll see if Jerry cares. The combination of an accumulation of billions and the shedding of any remaining filters (if there even were any) on the wrong side of 80 creates a sweet spot in which a person will say and do all sorts of things that could make others sour.”

It’s possible Jones wasn’t trying to give fans the middle finger, though. He appeared to be pointing at some Cowboys fans, so it’s possible that Jones, who is 82 years old, just used his middle finger instead of his pointer finger.
We’ll have to see what Jones says about this – and if the NFL believes him.
