San Francisco 49ers fans can be thankful cornerback Deommodore Lenoir is on their favorite team's roster.
Lenoir has precisely zero problems taking potshots at rival players from elsewhere within the NFC West on social media, and his spats against former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D.K. Metcalf were nothing short of entertaining. And once Metcalf was sent packing to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Niners' top cornerback even expressed some remorse at the receiver's departure from the division.
It's OK, though. Lenoir has another rival from within the division to poke fun at.
San Francisco recently wrapped up beating the Los Angeles Rams in overtime in Week 5's installment of Thursday Night Football, and Rams running back Kyren Williams played a major role in the end result.
Williams managed two receiving touchdowns for LA in the primetime thriller, yet he also coughed up a crucial fumble late in regulation, thanks to an epic peanut punch by rookie defensive tackle Alfred Collins that arguably saved the game.
Deommodore Lenoir has his new trash-talking target in Kyren Williams
Lenoir held a Q&A on his Instagram account in the days following the NFC West showdown, and one fan asked the defensive back what he thought about Los Angeles' star rusher.
The response was, well... very Lenoir-like.
"He’s got a fat mouth," Lenoir responded. "He shouldn’t have been talking. He pointed at me when he scored."
The play in question is the one below, and you can clearly see Williams point back to Lenoir who tried to come back over in coverage after the running back was left open on the strong side of the field:

Lenoir clearly took offense, but both he and the Niners ultimately got the last laugh, both in terms of getting the win and also in light of Williams' late-game fumble that wholly altered the outcome.
It's anyone's guess what happens from here, but it's safe to assume this won't be the last time Lenoir takes shots at Los Angeles' top rushing weapon, and it'll be fun to see what's in store when San Francisco hosts LA on Nov. 9 at Levi's Stadium.
Hat tip to@TheSFNiners for the find.
