After four games, Kelce has been one of Patrick Mahomes’ top options, catching 15 passes for 182 yards and a touchdown. That continued on Monday:

Coming into Monday night’s game against the Jaguars, Kelce had recorded 12,348 all-purpose yards in his 13 seasons in Kansas City, including 12,333 receiving yards and another 15 on the ground. This was good for second in Chiefs history behind former All-Pro wideout and return specialist Dante Hall (12,356).

On the Chiefs’ first play of the game, Mahomes connected with Kelce for a nine-yard gain before the tight end was brought down by Jaguars safety Andrew Wingard. The catch marked Kelce’s 12,342nd receiving yard and 12,357th all-purpose yard.

In doing so, Kelce entered a league of his own, becoming the Chiefs’ all-time leader in all-purpose yards. Now, behind Kelce and Hall sit some of the franchise’s greatest players, including former running back Jamaal Charles (10,963) and Hall of Fame tight end Tony Gonzalez (10,954).

“Another list with Travis at the top 🏹,” the Chiefs wrote on X. “Thanks for all the yards, @tkelce!”

Kelce is no stranger to Kansas City records. He already holds the franchise marks for most catches, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns, not to mention three Super Bowl victories in five appearances.

Following the “Monday Night Football” game against the Jaguars, Kelce and the Chiefs will have another difficult test in Week 6’s edition of “Sunday Night Football,” returning home to host Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions, who are on a four-game winning streak of their own.
