Trevor Lawrence must have forgotten about the cameras during his team’s game this week.
The Jacksonville Jaguars faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs on “Monday Night Football.” During the fourth quarter at Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville, Fla. the Jaguars quarterback Lawrence was caught redhanded pulling a gross move.
Lawrence was on the bench at the time and watched as Chiefs counterpart Patrick Mahomes led the team on an 86-yard drive to take a late 28-24 lead over the Jaguars (capped off by a two-yard Kareem Hunt touchdown run). The camera cut to Lawrence on the sideline as he would need to lead Jacksonville on a game-winning drive from there.
Clearly though, the gravity of the moment was lost on Lawrence as he decided to [checks notes] pick his nose in full view of the national television audience. Here is the video of Lawrence digging around in his sniffer.

Lawrence was really getting busy there, even using multiple fingers to get the job done. He couldn’t even pull a Jerry Seinfeld there and try to claim that it was a scratch instead.
Fortunately for Lawrence and the Jaguars, there was a happy ending. Lawrence led Jacksonville on a 60-yard drive of his own from there and finished it off himself with a ridiculous one-yard touchdown run with 23 seconds left after stumbling upon taking the snap. The Jaguars held from there, and they were able to walk away with the dramatic 31-28 victory.

So for Lawrence, there were two pieces of good news. At least he managed to lead the Jaguars to the win and at least his viral nose-pick wasn’t as embarrassing as the sports figure who was once caught picking a booger and then eating it.
