**2\. All.The.Way.** Jaguars linebacker [Devin Lloyd](/team/players-roster/devin-lloyd/) was the AFC Defensive Player of the Month for September. He began October with his biggest play of the season to date, intercepting Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at the 1-yard line and returning the interception 99 yards for a touchdown that gave the Jaguars a 21-14 lead with 2:19 remaining in the third quarter. "I picked up a couple of blocks, which was really big," Lloyd said.
> "I don't know if I would have made it if I didn't get those. I'm grateful for everybody helping me get to the end zone."
The play not only gave the Jaguars a 7-point lead, it prevented the Chiefs from taking a seven-or-three-point lead.
> "That was one of our zero blitzes," Coen said. "He was one of the guys that shows to get the offensive line to squeeze, then he pops out to the passing strength and just had another unbelievable play at a critical moment."
Lloyd broke two tackles on the play, avoided a would-be tackle by tight end Travis Kelce and got a clinching block on the sideline from defensive end Josh Hines-Allen. "He didn't have nothing to say," rookie wide receiver/defensive back [Travis Hunter](/team/players-roster/travis-hunter/) said of what Lloyd said when he made it to the sidelines. "He was too tired."
