Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon has reacted to the decision by England head coach Thomas Tuchel to leave Jack Grealish out of the current squad. Grealish has excelled at Everton following his loan move from Manchester City this summer.
He has four assists in the Premier League and on Sunday scored a dramatic late winner as the Blues beat Crystal Palace 2-1.
The return to form of the winger has prompted some talk about a potential return to the Three Lions set up. Jack Grealish fell out of favour under former manager Gareth Southgate after falling down the pecking order at City.

Gordon, who left Everton in bitter circumstances in 2023, is in the squad and was put up to speak to the media on Monday ahead of the upcoming games.
He was asked how he felt about Grealish being left out of the squad along with Phil Foden at City and Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.
"I don’t think it’s anything to do with them individually, I think they’re all at different stages of their career,” he said.
“It’s more about the team. It’s the team that’s going to win tournaments, hopefully.
“II think it’s never going to be about individuals, the moment we start making it about individuals is when we’ve got a problem.”
Grealish himself has made it clear that a return to the international fold is on his radar ahead of the World Cup in north America next summer.
“You know what - I don't think it's as deep as everyone says,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live after the Palace game.
“At the end of the day, you want to play for the national team but people are doing well in my position. I'm doing well also, but the people picked last month did really well in the two games so that's fine with me.
“That's the manager's decision and I fully respect that."
The 30-year-old last played for England in a 3-1 win over Finland under then interim head coach Lee Carsley.
Everton made their own point about the situation after their win over Palace on Sunday, changing their bio on X to ‘Grealish for England’ after his goal.
