Everton offloaded several players in the summer transfer window and one of them is really struggling.
David Moyes had a big rebuild on his hands as the club saw a whopping 13 first-teamers leave either on permanent deals or upon the expiry of their contracts.
Perhaps the most notable departure was Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who joined newly-promoted Leeds United on a free transfer.
Wayne Rooney has been impressed by Calvert-Lewin, although, he has still missed some big chances at times.
Another former Everton attacker who left in the summer is having a far less enjoyable time and in fact, Chris Sutton has branded the signing a ‘disaster’.

Chris Sutton says Youssef Chermiti has been a ‘disaster’ for Rangers
After failing to score for Everton during his two years at the club, it was quite surprising to see Youssef Chermiti join Rangers in a £10m transfer.
Chermiti is actually the third most expensive signing in Rangers’ history, but so far, he’s struggled to live up to expectations.
The 21-year-old hasn’t got off the mark in six appearances and Chris Sutton has been highly critical of the signing.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
“They’ve signed a boy, Chermiti, from Everton for the best part of 10 million pounds, and he just, with the greatest respect, it’s really difficult for him,” Sutton explained.
“You look at his track record, and Rangers fans are saying, well, why has the club paid 10 million for him? The whole thing is just a disaster.”
Everton will hope Youssef Chermiti starts scoring due to little-known clause
Everton actually have a vested interest in how Chermiti performs at Rangers because they have a significant sell-on clause.
However, the sell-on is based on whether the Gers make a profit, so for the Toffees to make any money, Chermiti will have to be sold for in excess of £10m.
At the moment that looks unlikely, however, he is still at the start of his career and has plenty of time to develop into a top forward.
Perhaps under a new manager, with Russell Martin gone, Chermiti will find his goalscoring boots at Ibrox.
