Memphis Depay sparks 22-man brawl with showboating in Brazilian league
Depay had been due to travel on Sunday evening ahead of joining up with the squad.
However, the Corinthians forward was unable to travel having been left without a passport.
As a result, he was notably absent from the player arrivals at the team's training base on Monday.
Ronald Koeman's squad will train at the national team centre in Zeist, central Netherlands, before travelling to Malta for their first of two World Cup qualifiers.

The Dutch FA confirmed Depay was 'doing everything he can' to make the journey 'as soon as possible' following the delay.
Meanwhile, Koeman told reporters: "This is unfortunate, primarily for Memphis, but also for us.
"You naturally want to start your international preparations with a full squad.
"At the same time, there are circumstances beyond our control. We hope he can indeed travel to join us at the training camp as soon as possible."
The Netherlands face Malta and Finland in World Cup qualifying on Thursday and Sunday, respectively.
Koeman's side are top of their group with a game in hand ahead of nearest challengers Poland on goal difference.

Depay's international record
Depay remains a key man for the national team and became their all-time leading scorer last month.
The 31-year-old's brace against Lithuania took his tally to 52 goals in 104 senior international caps.
It also allowed him to move clear of fellow former Manchester United man Robin van Persie to hold the outright record number of goals for the Oranje.
However, he remains 30 caps short of Wesley Sneijders record of 134 for the Netherlands between 2003 and 2018.
Depay has been playing his club football in Brazil for over a year, leaving Atletico Madrid.
He joined Corinthians in September 2024, signing a deal through to the end of 2026.
