Brenton Strange injury update: Latest news on Jags Te's return timeline after Ir placement

Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange suffered an injury in the massive Week 5 win over the Kansas City Chiefs that forced his early exit from the contest.

It isn't clear when or how Strange suffered the injury, but he was noticeably absent in the second half of the Jags' upset win over the reigning AFC champions.

The team announced on Tuesday that Strange has been placed on injured reserve with a quadriceps injury, which means he'll miss at least the next four games.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Strange is expected to miss about a month, so Strange's hip injury isn't season-ending.
