Fantasy Player Rankings Week 6 / Sports Illustrated
The fifth week of the NFL season has come and gone, and we’ve already entered the bye weeks. The good news is that only two teams, the Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings, are off the board. There is also another international game, as the Denver Broncos face the New York Jets in London (9:30 a.m. ET).
The Week 6 rankings will be without Lamar Jackson, who continues to deal with an injured hamstring, at the quarterback position. That’s obviously a huge loss for fantasy managers, as Cooper Rush will likely get the start against the Rams. The players who have moved up include Dak Prescott and Jordan Love.
Fantasy managers will once again be without high-end running backs like Bucky Irving and Omarion Hampton. We’re also seeing former studs like Derrick Henry and Alvin Kamara fall on hard times, while rookie Quinshon Judkins and Jacory Croskey-Merritt are on the rise. In fact, Judkins is now on the low-end, RB1 radar at the position.
The biggest movers at wide receiver include Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Deebo Samuel Sr., Emeka Egbuka and George Pickens based on their recent stats, a plus matchup or both. On the flip side, players like Brian Thomas Jr., Tee Higgins and Jerry Jeudy continue to slide to the point that it’s hard to start them in lineups.
