The Tennessee Titans finally broke through in Week 5, defeating the Arizona Cardinals 22-21 behind a remarkable fourth-quarter comeback led by rookie quarterback Cam Ward.
The top pick in the 2025 draft orchestrated a stunning rally after Tennessee trailed 21-6 entering the final period.
Ward threw for 193 yards in the fourth quarter alone, surpassing his combined totals from the previous four weeks in that period.
The victory ended a 10-game losing streak dating back to last November.

Ward finished with a career-high 265 passing yards, completing 13 of 18 attempts in the fourth quarter as the Titans scored 16 unanswered points.
His clutch throws included a 47-yard seam pass to Calvin Ridley and an over-the-shoulder strike to Gunnar Helm in the red zone, along with several precise connections to Chig Okonkwo and Tyler Lockett.
The performance drew praise for Ward’s poise under pressure. Coaches and teammates noted his demeanor and execution in crunch time could signal a turning point for the franchise’s fortunes.
