Jayden Daniels, quarterback for the Washington Commanders, was seen in action on Sunday again after being benched for the last couple of weeks as a result of an injury. Daniels definitely made some noise in the game to announce his comeback with an impressive play with running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt in the third quarter, giving his mother, Regina, quite a fright.
In a video which is now going viral, quarterback Daniels can be seen earnestly trying to block Chargers players as he tried his best to give Merritt a free path. Regina reacted to the video, applauding her son for the tremendous, nail-biting scene.

Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders were definitely on fire on Sunday as they demolished the Los Angeles Chargers with a 27-10 final score. Daniels himself managed a single passing touchdown for the team in the Week 5 matchup.
The Washington Commanders seem to be making the right moves throughout this 2025 NFL season, with the team winning three games so far. Next up, the Commanders are scheduled to lock horns with the Chicago Bears.

Jayden Daniels Sparks Dating Rumors With Juju Watkins
On another note, Jayden Daniels recently sparked dating rumors after his handshake with USC star, Juju Watkins, went viral. Daniels can be seen walking up to celebrate his latest victory by hugging his mom, Regina, and immediately holds out his hand to shake that of Watkins who is sitting nearby.
This is of course, not the first time that these rumors have been going around. Sometime back, Watkins and Daniels were spotted enjoying a basketball game together, with Regina sitting in the middle. Regina has been known to be fiercely protective of Daniels and even openly remarked that she will have a strong say in who her son gets to date.
While the two have not actually announced their relationship with each other, from here it seems like Regina has actually given her blessings to the two. Fans are hoping that the two become an official sports couple pretty soon, giving competition to many other celebrity couples in the NFL.
