It has become very clear that Real Madrid have an interest in Enzo Fernandez, and had scouts in attendance at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea’s most recent game.
Fernandez played a starring role in the thrilling win over Liverpool, feeding Marc Cucurella to set up Estevao Willian for his first goal for the club to secure all three points.
Jamie Redknapp admitted Fernandez is winning him over, with some pundits struggling to look past his price tag since he joined.
Perhaps his talents should be best summed up by the fact Madrid are considering an offer for Fernandez, with the hope that their pull will bring him away from Stamford Bridge.

It has even been accepted at Chelsea that an offer is likely to come their way, and will be a real test of whether the owners are just in the project to make money or if they want to build a winning team.
The most recent game has only seen the Spanish giants more keen on his addition. According to Defensa Central, Madrid were ‘amazed’ by Fernandez’s performance against Liverpool.
The report went on to say that they are now adamant they need to make a move to sign him, a scenario which will test the resolve of both Chelsea and the player.
The Argentine has become even more important to Chelsea since Enzo Maresca took over the club due to the magnitude of goal involvements he has registered.

Chelsea’s stance on Fernandez
It is believed that Chelsea are very keen to keep hold of Fernandez, however it is hard to say that any player at Stamford Bridge is completely off limits for the right price.
The Blues believe Fernandez’s long contract will work in their favour, with them offering long-term deals to the majority of players who join the club.
The World Cup winner has helped form one of the best midfields in the Premier League, however there has already been work done on establishing a replacement should they have to part ways.
Adam Wharton has emerged as a target for the club should they need to spend big money on a Fernandez replacement at the end of the season.
