This fan base was given the opportunity to see the Broncos face a stiff test against a winless team and seal the deal with a stellar fourth quarter of football.
Now they face another stiff test in travelling to London for a game and facing a winless team. This is a classic trap game.
It is easy for teams to come off a big win and think, “We just beat the best, these guys are a walk in the park…”
We will get to see this week if this young Broncos team is built that way or if they are going to lock in and take care of business like they should.
The Jets run the ball well, which can go a long way toward winning an NFL game. On defense, they are decent against the pass.
But the Jets’ best weapon this week is the Broncos’ very own hubris. That’s a trait I’ve seen out of Sean Payton many times over many years. As the coach goes, so will his team. Let’s see if they have what it takes to handle the Jets in a very unique game situation across the pond…
