Those Endrick to West Ham United links just won’t go away, and there is certainly some truth to suggestions that the Real Madrid wonderkid could find himself in the Premier League come the January transfer window.
While the Hammers were again mentioned in conjunction with Joshua Zirkzee this week – the Manchester United striker has been a target since Bayern Munich, reportedly – a certain teenage Brazilian is taking up plenty of column inches himself right now.
Zirkzee has found game time hard to come by since Benjamin Sesko moved to Old Trafford.
Endrick, meanwhile, is yet to play a single competitive minute for Real Madrid under Xabi Alonso. Despite being handed the iconic number nine shirt at the Santiago Bernabeu – following in the footsteps of Kylian Mbappe, Karim Benzema, Fernando Morientes and both Ronaldos – the mega-money signing from Palmeiras has slipped to third in the pecking order, behind fellow youngster Gonzalo Garcia.
And, according to reports out of Spain, West Ham United have positioned themselves as something of a mid-season escape route.
Speaking to Hammers News, meanwhile, chief football correspondent Graeme Bailey can confirm that Endrick is indeed a footballer with admirers at the London Stadium.

West Ham United ‘can’t be discounted’ for Real Madrid striker Endrick
Endrick, who joined Real Madrid in a staggering deal worth up to £60 million when he was just 16, was actually a West Ham target this time a year ago.
“West Ham have tried to sign Endrick on more than one occasion,” Bailey reveals. “They were at the head of the queue in January [2025] for instance, had he moved on loan. They even asked when he originally arrived in Madrid, in case he was allowed to go.

“Endrick, I am told, was open to the possibility had he left on loan, but it was always about creating his chance at Madrid.
“The fact it still hasn’t worked out, then, I am told West Ham still would like to take him. And if he is allowed out, West Ham honestly can’t be discounted.”
Still only 19 yet capped 14 times by Brazil at senior level, Endrick’s ability is obvious even if he remains very much a classic case of raw potential. Despite only starting eight games in all competitions as a Real Madrid player, the two-time Brazilian Serie A champion has already scored seven goals.
What Guti and Fernando Morientes said about Brazil wonderkid
Los Blancos legend Guti, meanwhile, believes that a loan move – to West Ham or somewhere else – would be the right decision if opportunities remain distant between now and the beginning of 2026.
“If he doesn’t get any opportunities between now and December, I think his best option is to leave so he can continue to grow,” Guti tells DAZN.
“For a young player, the best thing is to get playing time.”
“I really like Endrick’s personality,” the aforementioned Morientes told AS thirteen months ago. “It’s not easy when you arrive at Real Madrid at such a young age.
“You have to be there to realise the club’s stature. Everything is magnified, for better or worse. The impact is global. That can also affect you mentally.
“And Endrick came in very young, has adapted very well, and is showing a lot of personality. He’s a kid with characteristics that can mesh very well with what’s up front. Even with Arda Guler, with [Jude] Bellingham, If Mbappe isn’t there, as he is now, he’s undoubtedly an alternative.”
In addition to Endrick and Zirkzee, West Ham have been linked with Parma’s Mateo Pellegrino.
Hammers News have been told that Nuno Espirito Santo could reunite with Chris Wood – last season’s 20-goal talisman at Nottingham Forest – though Cruzeiro talisman Kaio Jorge played down rumours surrounding a move to East London last month.
