Free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has been banned for six games by the NFL for failing a drugs test.
The 32-year-old said he accepted the suspension but had never knowingly taken performance-enhancing substances.
Beckham said he was told his testosterone levels were too high following a test last season while playing for the Miami Dolphins.
"You can say whatever you want about me. I stand firm in knowing who I am today," Beckham told The Pivot Podcast.
"I ain't never cheated anybody but myself. I'm going to stand on that and I'm going to keep it going."
Beckham, who is without a team, said he is confident he will resume his playing career this season.
The ban means he cannot play before week 12, when games take place from 20-24 November.
He named several teams he could join, including the Pittsburgh Steelers, Los Angeles Rams and Kansas City Chiefs.
Beckham was part of the Rams' Super Bowl-winning team in 2022, but tore his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during the game and has struggled for form since.
