Those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona are likely to be left concerned by the latest transfer chatter doing the rounds in the European media.
This comes amid confirmation that Crystal Palace star Marc Guéhi appears to favour a move to Real Madrid at present.
The name of defender Guéhi has of course emerged as an altogether prominent one in the Spanish headlines across the week to date.
This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that La Liga’s two biggest clubs have earmarked the England international as a potential future signing.
Guéhi is as things stand due to become a free agent next summer, upon the expiration of his contract terms with Crystal Palace.
All of Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, in turn, have begun working towards a deal for his signature.
As alluded to above, however, according to market insider Florian Plettenberg of Sky:
‘Guéhi is waiting to see whether Real Madrid make a move.’
