Jack Grealish is impressed by Iliman Ndiaye at Everton
Iliman Ndiaye joined Everton last summer, and he has made a strong start to his second season at the club, showcasing that he’s truly settled in now.
Ndiaye and Grealish both scored this past weekend, ending Crystal Palace’s unbeaten run with a 2-1 win.
Ndiaye scored from the penalty spot before Grealish won the game with a last-minute goal, and the Senegal international celebrated the result on Instagram.
While Ndiaye was obviously pleased with the win and the manner in which they secured the result, Grealish took the time to praise him in the comments by saying, “the best.”
Iliman Ndiaye is equally as impressed by Jack Grealish
Grealish’s love for Ndiaye is a mutual one as the 25-year-old spoke positively about the on-loan Manchester City star after their win against Brighton earlier this season.
Ndiaye told BBC Sport what people could expect from their partnership this season, and that has been the case.
“[The partnership with Grealish] could be great. Jack is an amazing player, we all know that. He assisted me for the first goal and the second goal. It could be very good this season.”
One significant factor in Grealish’s move was to try to get enough game time to influence Thomas Tuchel’s thinking ahead of the World Cup next summer.
However, Grealish hasn’t been included in the England squad for the current international break despite scoring once and providing four assists this season for Everton.
