The rookie sensation torched the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, grabbing seven catches for 163 yards and scoring a touchdown in the Bucs’ hard-fought 38-35 victory.

His impressive outing in the high-scoring affair against the Seahawks helped Tampa Bay overcome injuries to star running back Bucky Irving and top receiver Mike Evans.

The former Ohio State standout is currently fourth in the league in receiving yards and tied for second in touchdowns. His breakout season demanded serious recognition on the Fox postgame show. That’s when Gronk stepped up to the plate and completely whiffed.

“You gotta give credit to this rookie sensation, wide receiver out of Ohio State, Emeka Egbigboo, going for over 100 yards,” Gronkowskisaidwith total confidence.

The Fox postgame desk reacted immediately. The joke made Howie Long and Terry Bradshaw crack up big time. Michael Strahan and Curt Menefee tried keeping it together but couldn’t stop them from rolling on the table as well. The entire studio was literally lost in Gronk’s goofy tone.

This isn’t Gronk’s first rodeo making verbal blunders on live TV. The five-time Pro Bowler has built a post-retirement career on being the lovable goofball of Fox’s coverage.
