As **Man United**face Valerenga in their first fixture of the Champions League main draw, Maya Le Tissier opened up about a talented Norwegian in her team who fired the Red Devils to a historic feat.
**Man United**were 1-0 down to Brann, another Norwegian club, after the first leg of their playoff qualifier. Step forward Elisabeth Terland, who bagged a hat-trick in the return leg in Manchester.
Head coach **Marc Skinner**has likened her to compatriot Erling Haaland, who is also in hot form for a club in the northwestern city, and the club captain contributed thoughts on a much-liked individual.
“She’s one of my best mates, so I only speak highly about her, but yeah, of course she's a fantastic player. She's made a massive difference coming in from Brighton. She's a workhorse out of possession. and you know what you're going to get from her.
“She works as hard as she can every single game. I think she'll she does a lot of kind of running that people don't see, a lot of pressing. As a team, we like to press and she's the one that starts off. She is the one that that does a lot of kind of unwanted running. I wouldn't want to do that upfront.
“She's very clinical. We need her um to play as well as she can. And, you know, she scored a hat-tick in the last Champo game. So, I think it's amazing and for her as a person, she's fantastic. She's such a positive person and funny as well. She's a main kind of part of our team. Everyone loves her.
“Both in Manchester, scoring goals. Good at hold up play, can run, can finish left foot, right foot, head. I think you can compare her to Haaland, but I don't know if she she'd enjoy that. They wear the same hair bands as well if that's if that's a point! Incredible players and lucky to play with Terz.”
