ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Atlanta Falcons are bringing out their throwback uniforms for their upcoming Monday Night Football matchup against the Buffalo Bills at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
It’s the first of three games this season that the team will wear the throwbacks. Atlanta will also wear them during their Week 15 game (Dec. 11) in Tampa Bay against the Buccaneers on Dec. 11 and Week 17 at home against the Los Angeles Rams on Dec. 29.
Atlanta sported these red-helmet uniforms from 1966 to 1989. The red helmets will be paired with black jerseys with white lettering and white pants.
The Falcons (2-2), coming off a bye week, are searching for their third win of the season. They were 3-0 in the throwbacks last season.

Buffalo will be breaking out their own throwback uniforms for Monday’s primetime game against the Falcons.
It’ll be the first of two games this season that the Bills will be wearing their Standing Buffalo throwbacks. They will also wear the throwbacks in their Week 11 game against Tampa Bay.
These uniforms include the Standing Buffalo helmet, which features a white shell with a red bison on the sides separated by a red stripe down the middle. The helmets will pair with an all-white uniform with blue and red stripes on the sleeves and pants.
Buffalo wore these uniforms on the road from 1962 to 1972 and returned the look most recently on Oct. 31, 2021.
Kickoff for Falcons-Bills is at 7:15 p.m. ET.
