Jordan Love admits what’s still missing from Packers offense as team prepares for Week 6…

The Green Bay Packers are preparing for theirupcoming game against Joe Flacco and the Cincinnati Bengals at Lambeau Field this coming Sunday. On a two-game winless skid and with a 2-1-1 record, Green Bay is looking to get back to its winning ways, while also sustaining its offense, which is top 10 in the league in scoring.

But it’s also not just about living up to the standard that they have set for Jordan Love. The star quarterback also wants to see a better collective effort and success from everyone going forward.

Jordan Love still expects Green Bay’s offense to get better

Consistency is a common goal of teams in the NFL, including Love and the Packers.

Green Bay averaged 27.0 points in the first two games of the season when the team defeated the Detroit Lions and the Washington Commanders for a 2-0 start, but the Packers struggled offensively in Week 3 against the Cleveland Browns on the road. In Week 4, Green Bay’s attack recaptured its form, albeit in a 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys on the road.

For Love, he likes what he’s seeing overall from Green Bay’s offense, but also knows that there’s still work to be done in order for the team’s attack to be more consistent.

“I got off to a great start … it’s me and it takes everybody on the offense to do that – blocking, receivers, everybody making great plays. I think there’s still room to keep improving, keep trying to be as consistent. I still think there’s a couple of misses out there,” Love told reporters on Wednesday (h/tMatt Schneidman of The Athletic).

After a bye in Week 5, it will beinteresting to see how Green Bay’s offense will perform in the Packers’ first game since the trip to Arlington. They should have success against the Bengals’ defense that is giving up more than 31 points and nearly 400 total yards per game this season.
