Ange Postecoglou is under huge pressure at Nottingham Forest, and a former Everton manager could replace him.
Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked after just three Premier League games, although the motive behind the decision was due to his fallout with sporting director Edu.
Nottingham Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis moved quickly to appoint former Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou.
Postecoglou is yet to win in any of his first seven games in charge and so Marinakis is already considering his future during the October international break.
A number of previous Everton managers have been linked to several jobs over the last week, with Sean Dyche and Rafa Benitez tipped to join Rangers.
Now there’s one being mooted to make the switch to Nottingham Forest.

Former Everton boss Marco Silva could join Nottingham Forest
Speaking on talkSPORT, journalist Alex Crook explained that former Everton and current Fulham manager Marco Silva is a genuine contender to replace Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest.
“One name to keep an eye on… Marco Silva at Fulham,” Crook said.

“Now, I think it’s difficult to get him out of Fulham mid-season, but his contract is up at the end of the season.
“I don’t expect him to stay at Craven Cottage, I think he’s been quite vocal about his unhappiness during most of the transfer windows he’s been in situ.
“He does have a good relationship with Marinakis, he was at Olympiacos when they won their 43rd league title, so I think if they do decide to change managers again, then he would be a genuine contender.”
Marco Silva almost left Fulham in the summer
Silva has been linked with a move away from Fulham multiple times over the last 12 months, or so.
In fact, back in May, it was reported that Silva agreed to join Al-Hilal, however, the Saudi Pro League side ended up appointing former Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi.
Ironically, Silva was also in the frame to join Tottenham Hotspur when Postecoglou was in post at the North Londoners.
The former Everton man has clearly dramatically improved his reputation since leaving Goodison Park in 2019, and many would argue Farhad Moshiri was too quick to sack him.
