Giannis Antetokounmpo is growing tired of his Milwaukee Bucks always coming up short.
Yes, Antetokounmpo has won a championship with the Bucks, but that was years ago, and they haven’t come close to doing it again since.
With so much speculation about Antetokounmpo and his future in Milwaukee floating around the internet, Bill Simmons dug into the Bucks’ playoff history.
“He’s only had eight playoff series wins. I’m going to put that in perspective. LeBron has 41. Tim Duncan has 35. Kobe had 33. Shaq had 32. Durant, 22. Kawhi has 19. Jayson Tatum is 15-7 in the playoffs. Jokic has 10. Giannis is 8-8. He’s looking at this like, ‘I just want to be in the playoffs. I just want to keep playing past April 30th. I think it’s really starting to get to him. I don’t even think it’s about chasing a ring for him as much as like just being in relevant basketball games in April, May, and June,” Simmons said.
This is Crazy — Giannis only has 8 playoff series wins, fewer than LeBron (41), KD (22), Kawhi (19), Tatum (15), and Jokic (10), per @BillSimmons

Of course, Antetokounmpo wants to win another ring, but according to Simmons, just being relevant during the playoffs is important.
The painful truth is that the Bucks haven’t been a fearsome squad in the postseason for a long time.
Teams have been able to work past them with relative ease, and they haven’t been viewed as true championship contenders.
Antetokounmpo has said that he needs more than this from his team and has admitted that he could contemplate a move if things don’t get better.
After their title win in 2021, some fans thought it was the beginning of a dynasty and the Bucks would be the most dominant team in the league for years.
That hasn’t been the case, and they’ve been a non-factor in the playoffs since.
That needs to change, or else the Bucks could be without their biggest star.
