To say that this has been a wild start to the NFL season would be a bit of an understatement.
There have been some crazy scores and games, but no results were as unique as what happened in Week 5.
It was the first time in almost a decade that the Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills lost in the same week.
“The Bills, Ravens, and Chiefs all lost in Week 5, the first time that’s happened in an NFL season since 2017, over 2,800 days ago. That was before Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson or Patrick Mahomes were even starters in the NFL,” Ari Meirov posted on X.

The Ravens didn’t stand a chance without quarterback Lamar Jackson, as their offense failed to get anything going against the Houston Texans’ elite defense.
The Chiefs, on the other hand, were close to winning on the road.
But Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence eventually scored a game-winning touchdown after Harrison Butker’s kickoff went out of bounds and gave them good field position.
Last but not least, the Bills were defeated by an AFC East rival.
Josh Allen played well, but Drake Maye led the New England Patriots to the game-winning score.
This just goes to show how difficult it is to win in the NFL these days.
It takes much more than having one of the best quarterbacks in the game.
It also shows just how dominant Jackson, Mahomes and Allen have been since they entered the league, and how uncommon it is to see them lose, especially in the same week.
