The Green Bay Packers already had a solid defense.
But as the adage says, the rich will always find a way to get richer.
That’s why they sent a big haul to the Dallas Cowboys to get their hands on Micah Parsons.
Though his basic stats with Green Bay might not be impressive, the advanced stats tell a different story.
According to insider Wendell Freeeira, the edge rusher is leading the NFL at 6.25 pressures per game.
More impressively, he’s done so despite being on a snap count in the first two games after the trade and missing some plays to deal with a lingering back injury.

Parsons is among the most double-teamed defenders in football, which is also worth noting.
As one of the most disruptive defensive players in the game, though he’s not getting sacks at the same impressive rate as he did during his days with Dallas, he’s still making an impact.
The Packers had a bye week that allowed him to restore his body and get more acclimated to the defense, and they will most likely unleash him in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Facing one of the shakiest offensive lines in the league is the perfect opportunity for him to drive those numbers up.
In addition, he should be extremely motivated coming off a frustrating revenge game against his former team in Week 4.
