The Los Angeles Lakers will be without LeBron James to begin the NBA season.
The 21-time All-Star will miss three to four weeks with sciatica on his right side.

James, 40, is set to enter his record 23rd NBA season and eighth with the Lakers.
The Akron, OH native appeared in 70 games a season ago, averaging 24.4 points on .513 shooting, 8.2 assists and 7.8 boards in 34.9 minutes a night.
The Lakers are next in action on Sunday when they host the Golden State Warriors. They open their regular season on Oct. 21, also at home to the Warriors.
