All-Pro defensive tackle Jalen Carter is inactive with a heel injury. Carter popped up on the injury report Wednesday when he was a limited participant.
Here is the full list of Eagles inactives:
TE Grant Calcaterra | 81 DT Jalen Carter | 98 G Landon Dickerson | 69 WR Xavier Gipson | 87 QB Sam Howell (3rd QB) | 14
CB Mac McWilliams | 22
The Eagles elevated defensive tackle Gabe Hall from the practice squad for Thursday's game. With Carter inactive, the Eagles' defensive tackles are Jordan Davis, Moro Ojomo, Byron Young, Ty Robinson, and Hall.
Left guard Landon Dickerson (ankle) will miss his first game of the season. Dickerson left last week's game early and Brett Toth replaced him. Center/guard Drew Kendall, a fifth-round rookie, will make his NFL debut against the Giants. He was a healthy scratch for the first five games.
Linebacker Nakobe Dean will play his first game of the season after being activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list. Dean suffered a season-ending knee injury in the first round of the playoffs last year against the Packers.
With Grant Calcaterra (oblique) out, the Eagles' tight ends are Dallas Goedert, Kylen Granson, and Cameron Latu.
