England have defeated Wales 3-0 in a friendly match at Wembley this evening.
Thomas Tuchel has now won six games in six and his England side are really starting to hit top form as the World Cup in the US approaches.
Tuchel has made some really bold decisions, like leaving out Jude Bellingham and Jack Grealish, but maintaining that continuity is clearly working.
Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford started and collected his 79th cap for the Three Lions and he actually broke a little-known record that has stood since 1966.

Jordan Pickford breaks England record vs Wales
Tuchel has had his critics, but one thing is certain; he knows how to set up a defence, as his England side have now kept six clean sheets in a row.
That was Pickford’s eighth consecutive clean sheet for the Three Lions, which means he’s actually just set a new record.
The legendary Gordon Banks was the previous record-holder, along with the Everton shot-stopper, as he managed seven in a row before Portugal’s Eusebio netted a penalty in the 1966 World Cup semi-final.

Pickford’s England legacy is now set in stone even further and few can question his status as Tuchel’s number one ahead of the World Cup.
The 31-year-old continues to set new heights.
Paul Robinson reckons Jordan Pickford has worked on his mentality
Speaking to BBC Sport, former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson explained that he reckons Pickford has been working on his mentality.
“Jordan has worked extremely hard on his game, but I also think he has worked extremely hard on himself, and the mentality of being England’s number one as well,” Robinson said.
“When you play for England, you come under huge scrutiny whenever a goal goes in and you have to deal with the noise – but Jordan has done more than that, he has silenced it. The criticism that he had in the past is just not there anymore.
“And while clean sheets are a collective effort, if you actually look at the way he controls his defence with Everton, and for them to be that strong and stable in a struggling team, then a lot of that is down to him.”
Pickford’s previous naysayers have certainly quietened down over the last couple of years, so he’s clearly in the form and peak of his career.
