Tristan Wirfs: Seattle Heckler Who Ran Smack On Baker Mayfield “Wasn’t Very Good”
October 10th, 2025
Bad hecklers make Tristan Wirfs wince.
We’ve all seen the video of Bucs quarterback Baker Mayfield getting into it with a heckler in Seattle last week before the game and then afterward, Mayfield came right back at the same guy to rub his nose in dirt.
Scoreboard, b!tch!
Joe can only imagine what players hear on the road. But to hear Tristan Wirfs, players respect hecklers who can bring it. But the guy in Seattle? He’s got no game, said the Bucs’ left tackle.
Apparently, the Seattle heckler is a season ticketholder and players from around the league are aware of him. And apparently so was Bucs security as Wirfs said Bucs players were tipped off about him before the game.
As it turned out, Wirfs said he was nothing to worry about because he was so lame.
“He didn’t have anything,” Wirfs said yesterday at One Buc Palace. “Like his material was sh!t. It was brutal.”
Wirfs said he has no issue with hecklers on the road so long as they can bring it. The guy in Seattle couldn’t.
“If you are going to be a heckler, you’ve got to step your game up,” Wirfs said. “And ‘Bake’ just kind of let him know that. It was pretty cool. It was pretty cool.
“[Hecklers], that’s part of the game,” Wirfs said. “That guy just wasn’t very good at it. … He just kind of sucked at it.”
Joe was told by a trusted Bucs source this guy is sort of a professional heckler who has been around for years and is known in NFL circles. Joe also saw a clip on YouTube of former NFL defensive end Chris Long who for years played for the Rams and dealt with the guy each season when the Rams played in Seattle.
Joe also saw on the “Inner Circle Podcast” where both Matty Ice and Aaron Donald cracked up watching Mayfield handle the guy and both said they knew exactly who Mayfield was jawing with
The heckler got to be such a joke for Long that when he knew he was about to retire, he posed for a picture with the Seattle heckler.
