The fantastic individual stats from Estevao Willian's display for Brazil as Chelsea talent shines

Brazil thrashed South Korea 5-0 on Friday in an international friendly, and Chelsea star Estevao Willian was at the heart of things.

It has been quite the week for Blues youngster Estevao Willian.

Last Saturday, Estevao scored a late winner for Chelsea against Liverpool in a memorable Premier League fixture at Stamford Bridge. It was the perfect way for the 18-year-old rising star to score his first competitive goal for his new club.

The right-winger has a lot of pressure on his young shoulders, but it looks like he’s taking everything in his stride.

Estevao’s opening goal was a finish into the roof of the net after an intelligent run from wide into the penalty area. Afterwards, he doubled his tally by dispossessing a defender before calmly finishing on his favoured left foot.

Estevao’s been the Premier League’s best youngster in the opening months of the 2025-26 season. It’s even more impressive to see him start for Brazil’s senior team and deliver such a clinical performance on the international stage.

With the 2026 World Cup just around the corner, which Brazil secured qualification for, he’s got the extra incentive to keep up his Chelsea form.

Chelsea’s deal for Estevao Willian looks incredible

It is quite remarkable to think that Chelsea agreed an initial deal worth £29m to sign Estevao from Palmeiras (BBC).

If the teenager continues developing at this rapid rate, the sky is the limit for him.

We certainly feel there are similarities to when Eden Hazard joined from Lille because he looked destined for greatness and delivered. Hopefully, Estevao can follow a similar path to become a Chelsea icon.
