The Jacksonville Jaguars are 4-1 and will surely want to step on the gas pedal to ensure they have a legitimate chance to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, this is the time of the year when injuries begin to pile up. The Jags are most definitely dealing with a few of their own.
During the win over the Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville lost tight end Brenton Strange to a hip injury. He's since landed on injured reserve, so he'll miss at least four weeks. Center Robert Hainsey also left the game with a hamstring injury, although his ailment appears to be less serious.
Even before the Monday Night Football matchup, the Jags were already missing Travon Walker, who suffered a wrist injury against the San Francisco 49ers. The good news is that injuries have tested their depth and have, in turn, forced several players to step up. And if the Jaguars want to repel the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6, they'll surely want to be as healthy as they can. With this in mind, here's a look at their Thursday Injury Report.
Robert Hainsey and Travon Walker highlight the Jaguars injury report
Today's Injury Report has no surprises. Travon Walker (wrist) continues to be limited. The same is true for Ezra Cleveland (ankle), Chuma Edoga (knee), Anton Harison (elbow), wide receiver Dyami Brown (shoulder), offensive guard Patrick Mekari (knee), running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder), and safety Eric Murray (neck).

Most of those players, if not all, have popped up on the injury report in past week but still ended up playing. Apart from Walker, all of them have a good chance of playing against the Seahawks.
On the other hand, center Robert Hainsey remains out, but rookie seventh-rounder Jonah Monheim filled in for him when he left in Week 5 and could once again step in his place if he sits out the Seattle game.
It's also worth noting that punter Logan Cooke missed Wednesday's practice, but because it was for personal reasons, there is no reason to think he won't be available on game day. He didn't show up on Thursday's report.
Robert Hainsey and Travon Walker are the most notable players on the Jaguars injury report
Things could change at any point, and the final injury report will provide more clarity. That said, the only Jaguars players who may realistically sit out the Seattle Seahawks game are Travon Walker and Robert Hainsey. If either one is unavailable, the coaching staff has a contingency plan in place for their respective absences.
If Walker isn't good to go, the Jaguars will use a combination of Dawuane Smoot, Emmanuel Ogbah, and rookie B.J. Green to replace him. If Hainsey misses the bout, Jonah Monehim will start at center.
The bottom line is that the Jaguars would like to be healthier for Week 6 but have the depth to withstand a few absences.
