During the NFL offseason, the Philadelphia Eagles favorite play the tush push was not banned. Well, when the Eagles faced the New York Giants on Thursday, they ran that play four straight times in the second quarter.

It led to a Jalen Hurts 1-yard touchdown and Philadelphia had a 17-13 lead at that point. After that, the Giants dominated the Eagles for the rest of the game. New York defeated Philadelphia by a final score of 34-17. The biggest story for Philadelphia was not the game itself. It was the fans on social media calling for a ban for the tush push.

It is not a shock that NFL fans are tired of the tush push. Here is what some of the fans had to say about it on Twitter:
Ban the tush push , what the eagles are doing is illegal and ridiculous. pic.twitter.com/uA5xROKyLX

I’ll say it again- if the Tush Push can’t be officiated properly because there are too many guys stacked up together on the line, you’ve got to ban the play
It’s cheating at this point

I’ve never been an advocate of banning the tush push before but it’s time. Nobody wants to watch that nonsense anymore. Four straight times? Come on.

As a packer fan I am proud we tried to ban the Tush Push! And hope we try again this offseason! It’s not a football play, it’s not called fairly! Ban the tush push!!!!!

A lot of people believe that the Eagles commit too many false starts on these plays that are not called. The owners are probably going to vote again this offseason to ban the tush push. Running it four straight plays against the Giants was just ridiculous.
