Much of their success has come down to how well they recruited in the summer transfer window, so many Arsenal fans will be excited to see if they can do more of the same in January, and sign some more difference-makers.

One player they have been linked with is Juventus’ Kenan Yildiz, who aged 20, is making a name for himself in the Serie A. So far this season, Yildiz has made 12 appearances for Juventus, scoring five goals, and providing six assists.

His best position is on the left wing, but the Turkish international can also play on the right, in attacking midfield, or as a false nine. His versatility has also attracted the attention of rivals Chelsea, and it now seems both Arsenal and Chelsea could struggle to land the 20-year-old.

Man United set to come in with higher bid for Yildiz

Amid reports that Arsenal and Chelsea are considering a January move for the Juventus talisman, fresh reports are suggesting interest from rivals Man United too, with the Red Devils reportedly not afraid to spend big on Yildiz.

According to the Daily Briefing, Man United are willing to bid £78m for Yildiz, which will just drive up his price for Arsenal and Chelsea. This could be a difficult figure for the Gunners to match, as they already spent over £250m in the summer.

The only way that Arsenal could match or beat United’s bid is by adding in a player in a swap deal, with names such as Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard likely to be considered.
