The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to stake their claim in what is all of a sudden a wide-open AFC North. The Steelers are entering Week 6 as the only team in the division as the sole owners of a winning record and are also the only team that is trotting out its opening week starter on Sunday.
Unfortunately, that starter, four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, is going to have to find a way to make things work without one of his top targets, according to one prominent insider around the team.
“Calvin Austin III is out against the Browns. Jalen Ramsey was a full participant today and is questionable. Alex Highsmith, Joey Porter Jr, and Jaylen Warren are off the injury report and ready to go for Sunday,” [Nick Farabaugh reported on Friday.](https://x.com/FarabaughFB/status/1976735474581696726)
Fans reacted to the news on social media.
With Ramsey listed as questionable, Farabaugh also reported on the approach for one of the franchise’s reserve defensive backs waiting for his opportunity on the practice squad.
“I always prepare to play, even if I don’t. We’re having guys get called up every week, just seeing guys around the league. I stay ready,” cornerback Beanie Bishop said, per Farabaugh.
It’ll be interesting to see if the Steelers can get a win even if Ramsey joins Austin in being sidelined for the contest.
