Former NFL quarterback and Fox Sports analyst Mark Sanchez spent roughly 20 minutes stumbling through downtown Indianapolis before a violent altercation that left both Sanchez and alleged victim Perry Tole hospitalized, according to new surveillance footage reviewed by TMZ Sports.

The videos, taken between 12:05 a.m. and 12:30 a.m., track Sanchez’s movements near an alley where Tole had parked his service truck. Tole arrived first, driving south down the alley and out of view of the cameras. Around seven minutes later, Sanchez appeared walking north out of the same alley, uninjured and seemingly disoriented, stumbling slightly as he made his way down the sidewalk.

About 90 seconds later, he retraced his steps, walking back toward the alley before disappearing from the frame. Roughly six minutes after that, Sanchez returned and lingered near the alley entrance, leaning against a wall for a couple of minutes. A passerby briefly interacted with him before Sanchez turned and began walking back into the alley.

Police say the confrontation occurred shortly after Sanchez moved out of camera range between 12:25 and 12:30 a.m. Investigators believe Sanchez approached Tole’s parked truck, pulled him out, and attacked him — prompting Tole to defend himself with pepper spray and a knife. Authorities say Tole suffered a serious facial injury, while Sanchez fled the scene bleeding from stab wounds.

At 12:30 a.m., surveillance footage shows Sanchez running out of the alley with a blood-soaked shirt before slowing to a walk along the street. Emergency responders arrived minutes later, blocking off the area and treating Tole, who was taken from the scene on a stretcher at 12:47 a.m.

Sanchez has been charged with felony battery resulting in serious bodily injury, along with three misdemeanor counts. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison. Both men have been released from the hospital.
