Robbie Fowler’s time on the red side of Liverpool has not stopped him from heaping praise on a current member of Everton’s squad.
David Moyes strengthened well over the summer, and their business has left them in good stead in the Premier League.
The Toffees have enjoyed a decent start to the season, picking up 11 points from seven games, and most recently ended Crystal Palace’s unbeaten run.
Fowler was amazed at a stat he discovered about Everton following that game, and the former Premier League forward later dropped another opinion about a player at Everton.

Robbie Fowler praises Everton’s Jack Grealish
Robbie Fowler has admitted that he is a big fan of Jack Grealish and believes the fan base at Everton has helped him find form.
The former Liverpool man was speaking on the Added Time Podcast alongside Alan Myers.
Fowler said, “Jack Grealish, I’m a massive fan. I think he’s a brilliant player. I mean, you talk of the realms of loyalty, and players always get a bit of stick because they’re not loyal to clubs. Yeah, loyalty is a two-way street as far as I’m concerned.
“And you think, well, you know, Man City were probably not loyal to Jack. You know, Pep probably wasn’t as loyal to Jack.

“But, you know, he’s come to Everton, and he’s shown what he can do with a fan base. I’m not saying Man City fans don’t like him, but a fan base who got right behind him and a manager who probably believes him a little bit more.”
Since making the loan switch to Everton, Grealish has taken the Premier League by storm once again.
His form is reminiscent of his Aston Villa days, and the Englishman seems to be enjoying his football.
Interestingly, Fowler wanted Jack Grealish at Liverpool, but the Toffees are now the beneficiaries of one of England’s most talented players.
It is not only Robbie Fowler who is impressed by Jack Grealish, as many other prominent figures have spoken about him.
Robbie Keane admitted he loves the footballer’s personality, while before the Merseyside Derby, Arne Slot pinpointed Jack Grealish as Everton’s danger man.
The praise from outside figures showcase what a player Everton have on their hands.
His start for the club has been exceptional, highlighted by Grealish winning August’s Player of the Month award.
Let’s hope he can continue to do what he has been doing so far, and if he can, the Blues could be in with a shot at a special season.
