Unlike the “tear it down” style rebuilds of the past, this Browns rebuild is not just looking to get rid of talent. Instead, the team is balancing keeping quality players for 2026 and beyond while adding assets to help do that as well. Like Flacco and Newsome, that will likely lead to trades of players in the final years of their deal and heading to NFL free agency.
Cleveland’s roster has a load of players that fit that bill. A few of them would have value if the Browns made them available for trade.
