Desperate times may call for desperate measures from the Milwaukee Bucks.
They know they could be nearing the end of their time with Giannis Antetokounmpo, and they’d do just about anything to keep him in the lineup.
According to Evan Sidery, fans should keep a close eye on Kyle Kuzma because he could be leaving the team to bolster the roster and give Antetokounmpo a better chance at being a championship contender.
“As the Bucks prepare for a must-win season to appease Giannis Antetokounmpo, trade chatter will pick back up around Kyle Kuzma soon. After attempting to trade Kuzma over the offseason, Milwaukee hopes for a bounce-back utilizing his $22.4 million salary to acquire an upgrade,” Sidery posted on X.

He’s only had a small sample size, but Kuzma has been up-and-down and hot-and-cold in Milwaukee.
He averaged 14.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists during his 33 regular-season games with the Bucks in 2024-25.
Unfortunately, he fell off a cliff in the playoffs and posted just 5.8 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists.
That left a bad impression on the fans, and there were immediate cries for him to be moved to another team.
When Kuzma was brought to the Bucks last year, he was seen as someone who could provide space on the court and support for Antetokounmpo.
So far, he’s been decidedly and painfully mixed.
The Bucks feel they probably have just one more season to convince Antetokounmpo to remain in Milwaukee, and every game is going to count.
If they are in bad shape around the trade deadline, you can bet that Kuzma’s name will be attached to many rumors.
But the painful truth is that Antetokounmpo will likely also be in rumors at that point.
They haven’t even played their first game of 2025-26, but the Bucks are already at the center of multiple trade rumors.
