Several Arsenal players are now away on international duty, but Mikel Arteta will already be planning for their next game against Fulham when they return, hoping to make it five wins in a row in all competitions.
However, for all that is positive at Arsenal, they will face stiff competition in the Premier League title race against Liverpool and Man City. The Reds’ form hasn’t been great recently, but their form is surely going to improved based on the strength of Arne Slot’s squad.
Furthermore, Man City are looking to be back to their best under Pep Guardiola with the likes of Erling Haaland, Phil Foden and more playing their best football in the Premier League.
Petit predicts that Arsenal will win the Premier League
Amid the impending Premier League title battle between Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool, former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit was asked on talkSPORT, who he thinks will win the Premier League this year, and his response was very clear.
Petit said: “I think they will win the title because of the new signings, because of the options that Arteta has on the bench and the rotation he can make, the turnover he can make in every game.
“That’s the biggest reason why Arsenal lost the last three seasons, with the competition being Liverpool and Manchester City.I don’t see Arsenal or Arteta not winning the title this season.”
The Gunners are currently the favourites to win the league based on the most recent Supercomputer simulations and the bookmakers’ odds, it is up to Arteta and his players to now deliver on that.
