Jaguars just dropped massive Travon Walker update in final Week 6 injury report

The Jacksonville Jaguars are coming off wins over the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs and will have a prime opportunity to further solidify their place as a playoff team when they welcome the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6.

Even though the Jags have shown they can keep up with tough opponents, they're only a one-point favorite for Week 6 because Seattle travels well. In fact, they're 9-1 on the road under head coach Mike Macdonald, so Jacksonville shouldn't expect to just roll over them.

Working in their Jaguars' favor is that the Seahawks are dealing with a handful of injuries that could leave their defense vulnerable when they travel to Duval. With this in mind, here's the injury report for Week 6.

The Jaguars may be without Travon Walker and Robert Hainsey for the Seahawks game

Robert Hainsey didn't participate in practice ahead of the game, so it's not a surprise that he's doubtful for the game. Linebacker Yasir Abdullah is listed as questionable. On the other hand, pass rusher Travon Walker has no status, so he's good to go.

Wide receiver Dyami Brown (shoulder), offensive lineman Wyatt Milum (ankle), right guard Patrick Mekari (knee), running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder), backup guard Chuma Edoga (knee), and Anton Harrison (elbow) were limited participants throughout the week but they're a full go against the Seahawks.

Travon Walker is trending towards suit up for the Jaguars in Week 6

Barring anything unexpected, Travon Walker will suit up against the Seahawks. Before the Jaguars posted their final injury report, head coach Liam Coen sounded optimistic about his availability for Game Day.

"Getting him out there yesterday, just moving in a more full-speed pace than we were really able to do at times last week. I think that' helpful," Coen said (6:59 mark). "Been able to see him use it a little bit more, and although it's so awkward using your hand. We don't have a hand you really use, so he's doing everything he can right now. That was really good to see yesterday. Hopefully, you see another step today, with more and more time comfort level of using it. And they're definitely very hopeful."

Walker originally hurt his wrist in Week 4. The severity of the injury was unknown, but he was classified as day-to-day after consulting with a specialist and undergoing surgery. The former Georgia Bulldog has made four starts this season, registering two sacks and 12 total tackles.

Having him around for the Seattle game will certainly give the Jaguars' pass rush a much needed boost.
