The Detroit Lions are looking to take down the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6 of the NFL season, currently riding a four-game win streak.

Detroit suffered a loss to the Green Bay Packers to begin the season, but followed that with wins over the Bears, Ravens, Browns and Bengals.

Amid the win streak for the Lions, Detroit announced some unfortunate news regarding the roster of the team.

Detroit announced that Giovanni Manu has been placed on injured reserve. The offensive tackle will now miss a minimum of four games for the Lions.

Giovanni Manu was beginning to gain traction in the Detroit Lions’ lineup. The second-year offensive tackle made his first start in place of Taylor Decker last weekend.

Manu wound up appearing on the practice injury report midway through the week, ahead of the team’s matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Before playing the Chiefs, the Lions also made several other keys moves. The Lions waived offensive lineman Kingsley Eguakun and defensive lineman Chris Smith.

The Detroit Lions continue to work through changes in the offensive line, but it’s clear that Dan Campbell’s team has the talent to produce with several stars on that end of the field.

Jared Goff will look to lead the Lions over the Kansas City Chiefs with the help of Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta.

Patrick Mahomes’ team enters the game with a 2-3 record.
